The Berus-Lie Memorial Academy for Gifted Thinksporters is open to any and all students who are eager to work hard and reach for the stars!
Admissions are a simple 4-step process:
1. Thinksport Aptitude Screening
Students will be given an online test, in which they must demonstrate their aptitude in Thinksporting by answering as many questions of Chicago Open 2020 as possible.
2. Submission of Test Scores
Students must submit official documents displaying any SAT, PSAT, ACT, IB, or AP test scores that they have. Also required are an IQ test score and an MRI scan, as there is a minimum cranial surface area of 450 square inches for all applicants.
3. Literary and Artistic Analysis
Students must submit at least three (3) book reports of at least three (3) novels by Hungarian novelist László Krasznahorkai. Students must also do an analysis of one (1) scene from the film Satantango by Béla Tarr and at least one (1) movement from any of Ludwig van Beethoven's late string quartets (Nos. 12 – 16).
4. Submission of Learning Materials
If a student has fulfilled the prerequisites, all that is left is the payment for all the national tournaments the student plans on going to, one (1) working The Judge buzzer system, and one (1) new copy of any novel by László Krasznahorkai. Congratulations! You are on the way to success!
